The Driskill Hotel is a grand old hotel in Austin, Texas with a very storied history, including connections to presidents, governors and the Old West. The architecture is amazing too. It is also said to be haunted.

Nerd Trips ABCs
Admission fee: Not really. We had drinks in the bar, and you obviously have to pay if you’re staying there.
Bathrooms: Very elegant and possibly haunted.
Concessions/food: It’s hotel, so there is a bakery/cafe, a grill and even room service. We also enjoyed the libations in the cool bar with the copper ceiling (named one of the Top 50 Southern bars by Garden & Gun magazine). The Driskill is also within walking distance to some great Austin restaurants.
Cars/getting there: We found street parking. But it’s a hotel, they even have valet. Lots of taxis too.
Coffee cups (aka souvenirs): It’s hotel. There is probably a gift shop, I just don’t remember seeing it because we weren’t staying there.
