The O.Henry Museum in Austin, Texas was the home of the famous American writer O.Henry (real name Will Porter). His own life is quite a story, and you’ll learn a lot about it on the tour.
The O.Henry Museum hosts the annual world championship pun-off, a unique competition of live punning.

We also wrote a post about the O.Henry Pun-Off.
Nerd Trips ABCs:
Admission fee: None – it was free!
Bathrooms: It’s so small, we didn’t even ask. I would say no public restroom. When we attended the O.Henry Pun-Off, they had portable toilets.
Concessions/food: No food on site, very small place. At the Pun-Off, they had some food trucks. It’s in Austin, home to lots of great places to eat.
Cars/getting there: Metered street parking.
Coffee cups (aka souvenirs): Tiny gift shop (basically a couple of book shelves). They had lots of O.Henry stories for sale.
