The Poe House in Baltimore is super tiny structure where Poe lived with his extended family, the Clemms. Poe later married his cousin Virginia Clemm. The Poe House has displays about Poe’s life and writings. The museum staff seems to have a sense of humor about the crazy questions visitors may ask. The Poe House ran into financial issues and had to close, but reopened on a limited basis in late 2014.

Admission fee: I think we paid about $5. Check the website for updated information.
Bathrooms: The house is so small, there was no need for the bathroom. I’d advise going before you get the Poe house.
Concessions/food: There is no food available. There are no nearby restaurants.
Cars/getting there: We drove. As we wrote in our post, the neighborhood can be a little rough. Here is a link for directions, the website also has links for information on public transportation.
Coffee cups (aka souvenirs): When we visited, there was small gift shop with Poe souvenirs.
